Huge thanks to EnXXo for this! This is his FLAC, info., etc. He also helped me end a decade search for this recording! ;) All I did was rename the files for L.M.A. standards. Nothing else was changed or done.
Of note, of course, is the special guest appearance of John Lee Hooker! Billy Roberts also makes a rare public appearance, singing his own song that became a legend, "Hey Joe." Also, this is the only Gravenites Cipollina show I've seen with Greg Anton (Zero, Heart Of Gold, Greggs Eggs) is the drummer, making some of regular songs sound quite a bit different.
Cipollina fans might want to check out an online vine group twith a zest of using the best known sources.

Taped by Dave Hunter and Eric Fabian. The mic's were not 441's, but a Sony Stereo Microphone, placed FOB on a pole. My master has the same gain reduction at 0:36, pretty sure no-one else taped this show except perhaps the sound engineer.

I'm a huge JLH fan so to stumble on this show is literally astounding me to ecstasy...Cip was an incredible performer unlike no other, I am really just discovering so much of his music library...absolutely astronomical...has opened my eyes to a whole new dimension, thanks John...wish I'd found you sooner, wish you were here- peace

One of the best pieces of music that I have heard for a long time. As a Quicksilver fan I only ever really got into Happy Trails + Maiden Of The Cancer Moon.
DON`T READ ANYMORE LISTEN TO IT
& when you think it can`t get any better on comes BILLY ROBERTS & JOHN LEE HOOKER. Thats right, the man that wrote HEY JOE & one of the worlds greatest all time blues men JOHN LEE HOOKER. If you are still reading. Listen to it an absolutely stunning set of music

whynot just .....scream
Just a total killer. JC,JLH and NG trading licks and vocals ....send me to Valhalla or at least to the Ludlow Garage. Dance, dance, dance. I drum in a blues band and after all the shit... JC is still the best.Garcia could never play the blues licks like the Cip..and Man can Nick sing.

It doesn't get any better than this. I never imagined I'd hear the writer of "Hey Joe" performing this great rock warhorse. And Mr. Hooker! This is too much. Thanks a million!
